Anxiety is something no one likes to experience as it makes them feel more worried about small things that don’t even deserve to be worried about. Do not tell someone with anxiety to calm down as it can make them feel worse. Listen to what they are saying and always let them know that you are there to help them, your support is what will keep them grounded and be able to get out of their anxious state on their own. You can also troubleshoot with them if it is something or someone causing them anxiety so you can help them figure things out and settle down.
