People who worry typically have a reason behind their worrying. Try to talk to the person to figure out what is making them so worried and, if you can, try to help them out to ease their worries away. But some people worry for no reason, which is often not the best thing to do. For the person who is prone to over worrying, tell them to calm down or try to explain that their worry is not needed. Try to distract them and they should start to feel better.
You can always talk to me
You’re allowed to feel anxious, even if you don’t know why
I might not understand what you’re going through, but I’m always here for you to talk to me if you need to
You don’t need to explain yourself to anyone, including me
I’ll stay with you for as long as you need me
Let me know if there’s something specific I can do
Let me know if you just want me to be with you, even if I can’t do anything specifically helpful
It’s okay that you feel this way
What can I do to help right now?
Would it help if I just sat here with you?
I love you and I am always here for you, no matter what’s going on
Do you want me to come over?
Are you looking for advice or would you rather I just listen?
Just stop worrying and you’ll feel so much better
Everyone gets stressed sometimes—that's ok
There’s no reason to panic
I’m always here if you need to talk
Your worries are not silly
Let's sort through this together
There's a cup of tea waiting for you at home
I know you can't control it
I love you, no matter what
99% of the things you worry about will never happe.
Remember, today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday
Worrying will never change the outcome
Focus on the positives and soon the negatives will disappear
Be a warrior, not a worrier
Worrying is like praying for what you don’t want
Worrying does not empty tomorrow of its troubles, it empties today of its strength
Don’t worry just care and be prepared
Why worry if you have done the very best you can. Worrying won’t make it any better
Worrying is literally betting against yourself
