Stress can be such a headache, and can make someone feel horrible. For your stressed friend, try to get them to tell you what is stressing them out so much and see if you can offer any help to them. You can also try and distract them from what is stressing them out by taking them out somewhere fun, or simply talking to them. Whatever route you decide to take, just be sure not to accidentally add more stress to their day.
When you want to give up, tell yourself you will hold off for just one more day, hour, minute—whatever you can manage
